The Thing Called Life.

Life is crazy. From the day I was born to now, I feel as if I have grown so much. Although at times I feel as if I go 100 steps forward to go 65 backwards. But I have a plan in life, a purpose, a mission. And one day, it will all be accomplished. I have came a long ways. I have graduated high school, attended fashion school, worked for Kelly Coutrone and Teen Vogue. I have came so far. I was on Laguna Beach and The Hills. I am an author of 3 best selling books. I have a fashion line. Life is crazy. But life has taken me through everything that I have been through so far, so I must hold on for the ride. I am ready to see what else life has in store. And time will only tell.

Look for my name in lights, it will continue to shine.

Life will take everyone somewhere. You just have to be confident and have faith.

Cut Like a Movie.

Life. Life is real.
Television. Television is reality.

Today. Today was quite a day. The ups and downs often lead you to something better. I sure hope that this does lead me to something better. As some may know, a new show of mine, Ms. Trendy, was pulled by MTV today. I was notified this morning from my publicist a few minutes ago that the show would not be airing due to the content. It was not personal and a real insight into my personal life so they gave me the option to change it and… I passed. Reality is not who I am or where I am going. So this has to be for the better of myself as well as the ones that I love. Something better is to come…

Until next time...

My Birthday.

A birthday. A day to
reflect, a day to remember,
a day to celebrate.
——————————————-
Today, a day that celebrates my birth, a day of reflection. A day to think about this crazy and beautiful thing called life.
——————————————-
The day the filming started for Laguna Beach is the day that my life changed. It got flipped upside down and did a full 360° turn. Life throws you lemons, you must make lemonade. Laguna Beach was a great experience and it lead me to The Hills. Each teaching me a little more about myself. Each showing me new and broader horizons. I learned a lot and can not say that I regret anything that I did but I am glad it is over and I am moving on with my life. Now, writing books, fashion, and myself are my life. I live in a condo with me, myself, and I. I also have 3 books that tell my story in a different light. I guess that is an easy way of saying that I was not ready to face who I had been or who I was becoming. But now, life is on track for me. I make my life go the way I want them to go and I am in charge of what I do. Today, I am 25. That is 25 years of California sun, hundreds of boxes of hair dye, pounds of sugar, and millions or dollars in clothes.
But… Life is good.

Until next time...

Yours Truly,
Lauren Conrad

The Basics.

My name is who I am.
My name is what I have been.
My name is Lauren Conrad.

1986. I graced this earth. Life flew by as MTV’s cameras joined my life in my teen years. 2004. High school was hectic and that made it even harder to live the normal life. 2006. The Hills was my own branch of life and continued to rank high in the charts of television’s most watched shows. But experiencing reality television lead me to believe that my life was taking me else where.  2008. My passion for fashion takes over. 2009. All taping of my personal life ceases and I decide to move on with my life. 2010. Writing takes the drivers seat. 2011. Life is on track. I have a great boyfriend, wonderful and supporting family along with great friends, a beautiful and peaceful home… and most importantly, I am happy.
Life is beautiful.

Until Next Time...
